I graduated as an occupational therapist in 1986 and specialised in occupational therapy for children and adolescents in 1994, upgraded to a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2016, and completed a Master's degree at Jönköping University in 2017. I have worked both in assessment and therapy in a university hospital, family rehabilitation in child welfare, and as a private practitioner.
I have worked with people of different ages, from babies to parents, especially with problems of sensory integration and processing. I strive for client-oriented, goal-oriented cooperation, with an emphasis on the client's inner motivation and enjoyment of the activity. I believe that what is essential in my work is a present, respectful encounter and playfulness, which allows for a safe atmosphere to experiment and strengthen abilities and learn new skills.
I can conduct either basic or specialized (SI/ SIPT) occupational therapy assessments.
I am also happy to serve international clients in English, German, Italian, and French.
The trainings that guide my work:
- Sensory Integration Therapy Training and Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT)
- Sensorimotor Psychotherapy for Trauma - a stabilizing intervention approach
- Trappan - a crisis model for children who have witnessed violence
- HoiLei - a method to support interaction and mentalization skills
- Dialogic Baby Dance
- Psychosynthesis Coaching
